Carseat Canopy

My carseat canopy has just arrived! My baby has been using her infant car seat for almost 10 months now so you might not see why I’m excited about getting a carseat canopy. Besides, the hubby carries her in the car seat all the time because my operation has limited the weight of loads that I can carry. Getting a carseat canopy is almost like my gift for him.

Here’s why I’m excited about it. It’s a $49 item but I got it for free! Yes! I just had to pay shipping and handling which was just about $12. There are a lot of these canopies sold online but the cheapest that I’ve seen costs $17. It’s also pretty simple to make if you have the skills and the time. I don’t have those but I had $12 so I invested on it.

Our baby is 9 months old, 29 inches tall, 18 pounds. So she is less than 3 months, or 1 inch, or 2 pounds away from outgrowing her infant car seat and needing a front-facing booster seat. She’s not gonna use this new purchase for very long but we can always use it for our next babies. We would definitely get the most out of this deal!

Want to know how? I received an email from Deals for Mommy which has a promo code for carseatcanopy.com President’s day sale: DFMCar

I tried to enter the code after the promo period and it still seemed to work. As I searched the web, I also found out that the code valentine also gives a 100% discount. It also works for the bundles and on 2 other sites: sevenslings.com, which offers baby sling carriers; and uddercover.com, which sells nursing covers.

The codes can be used several times, you just gave to open a new browser window. Go ahead and give it a try… Happy shopping!

It is very obvious here and I can not over-emphasize that it was so ambitious of me to think that I can keep a baby blog while being a first-time mommy. I thought I could write about baby’s development as we go trough them; I never imagined that I would be sooo busy to do…
